All of our nannies have are required to have the following criteria:
- Eligible to work in US*
- Ability to pass a full background check*
- Ability to pass a driving record check
- National Sex Offender Registry Search*
- Childcare reference- we require at least one year of verifiable experience, outside of family*
- Personal references- we require at least three personal character references.
- Have or be willing to obtain your CPR and First Aid Certification before your first job (must include infant and child course) We have recommendations on where to obtain!
(Not required at the time of interview) - Must love working with children!
Professional Appearance Standard for Nannies
As a representative of our agency, nannies are expected to maintain a clean, modest, and family-appropriate appearance—especially in profile photos and during initial meetings with clients. This includes:
- Dressing in neat, conservative clothing (no revealing or graphic attire)
- Removing visible facial or non-traditional piercings for interviews
- Covering tattoos when possible
- Keeping hair tidy and makeup subtle, if worn
